As your child learns to master communication and mobility, they are beginning to have a wider array of emotions and understanding of themselves as an independent person. They are developing likes and dislikes and beginning to ‘copy’ others behaviors, actions and speech. This period of your child’s life is critical to instilling good values and behaviors that will last for many years.

In this course, you’ll learn about your child’s development needs during this time and how to direct their behaviors in a positive way. This period is all about giving your child the space and tools they need to learn and grow independently. Through the activities given to you in this course, your child will learn thoughtfulness, self-confidence and explore their individuality.
